How do I setup mscable dial up service on my PC... ?
There are a few important pieces of information you need to connect to mscable. Heres the basic information:
- The mscable dial in number is 0845 66 55555
- The mscable.com IP address is : 194.154.189.170
- Our PRIMARY DNS address is : 194.154.189.173
- Our SECONDARY DNS address is : ASK!
- Our ISP Tag is : ASK!
- Our default login NAME is : guest
- Our default PASSWORD is : guest

Why doesn't my ftp software see everything ... ?
ftp is used to download from our site if you use an ftp program - we recommend CuteFTP. ftp programs typically are restricted to the areas of our servers that we want you to visit - mainly our download program areas. You will have been given a name and password for other areas if allowed.

Who is responsibe for my email software on my PC... ?
mscable customers who have a domain hosted on our mscable.com server have free support to help them with all internet related problems. If you are just a casual visitor then we do offer support but this carries a cost. For further details contact 01782 544700.

When do I renew my membership... ?
If you have a domain hosted on the mscable server then charges are made monthly to support that domain - your personal membership remains while the domain resides on our servers.
Pop email accounts are also part of the package included with domain hosting.
However, if you visit our site from other means than via our dial up lines (0845 66 55555) then you may find that some services are limited. Domain clients do not suffer in this way.
